About the Practice
Trove Advisory Group is a boutique accounting practice located in Subiaco, offering business advisory and tax solutions to businesses, individuals and high net wealth family groups. Two of our Directors have worked closely together for 25 years, having branched out 15 years ago from a Big 4 firm. We advise approximately ten of the Top 100 Private WA Family Groups (and others of similar size).
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Intermediate – Senior Accountant to join the firm on a full-time basis. Working closely with our management team, you will be dealing with a mix of advisory and compliance work. This role is perfect for somebody who is a forward-thinker and wants to be part of a firm that is known for its friendly and dynamic culture. The successful candidate will have direct access to the supportive Directors.
Duties include:
- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for SMEs, trusts, company’s, partnerships, self-managed superfunds & individuals
- Preparing business activity statements
- Tax advisory including CGT and Div 7A
- Liaising with ATO and external agencies
- Liaising with clients
- Preparing referenced work papers
About you:
To be successful in this role you will need to be a team player with two to five years business services and tax experience in a similar role, CA/CPA or near completion, strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage daily workflow. Strong computer skills and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. You will have:
- Exposure to FBT, Div 7A, UPE, sub-trusts, solid tax knowledge and application
- Confidence in using MYOB AE (Accountants Enterprise) systems, processes and workpapers
